Engineering Dual Degree

The Engineering Dual Degree Program (EDDP) is a partnership between Butler’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indianapolis. Through this unique five-year undergraduate program, you can earn two degrees: one in engineering from Purdue along with a Butler degree in one or more of these disciplines: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Economics, or our Science, Technology, and Society program.

You’ll apply and enroll for the EDDP through Butler and live here throughout the program. Most engineering courses are taught at Butler for the first three years; during the last two years, you’ll take courses on both campuses (five miles apart).

The EDDP provides a diverse, creative, professional, technical, and liberal arts educational experience occurring through two quality, neighboring universities.
