At Butler, thoughtful, intentional, real-world experiences and relationship building is an integral part of the Special Education\u2014Mild Intervention major, whether in an inclusive classroom settings, participating in adaptive sports, or other experiential learning opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Special Education\u2014Mild Intervention major, you\u2019ll develop the skills needed to be a P\u201312 Special Education teacher for learners with mild intervention needs. You&#8217;ll be equipped and licensed to teach, support, and advocate for students with disabilities using evidence-based strategies. This requires extra coursework and allows you to license in both Kindergarten-6 Generalist and P-12 Special Education &#8211; Mild Intervention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add on the Teacher of English Learners (TEL) license.
