The resources below amplify the voices and experiences of students from historically marginalized communities, including those who identify as transgender or Native American. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/disabilityvisibilityproject.com\/2021\/03\/07\/ep-98-disabled-students\/\">Disability Visibility Podcast Ep. 98, 2021<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; A 40-minute podcast episode featuring a disability advocate who discusses developing her disability identity and her experience of community organizing at her undergraduate institution, UC Berkeley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/news\/2022\/08\/12\/6-supports-professors-need-teach-first-gen-students-infographic#at_pco=cfd-1.0\"><strong>Helping Faculty Help First-Gen Students<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; An infographic sharing tips and tools that will equip professors in supporting first-generation students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oM-aVROi4D0\">Native American Students Respond to American Education<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; A short video of  Kumeyaay youth sharing their experiences of being stereotyped and underrepresented, and their hopes for the future of our country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jkcf.org\/research\/making-college-affordable-providing-low-income-students-with-the-knowledge-and-resources-needed-to-pay-for-college\/\">Students from Low-Income Backgrounds<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; An article describing various practices that faculty and staff can implement to better support students as they enter and articulate through college.
