Dr. Tracy Sprunger is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Butler University. She received a B.A. in Biology from Hanover College, and then received her B.S. and PharmD from the University of Cincinnati followed by a PGY1 and PGY2 Specialty residency in Family Medicine at Clarian Health (Now IU Health). In her current role she directs the Therapeutics Course Series, serves as a preceptor for student and resident academic rotations, and serves as a clinical pharmacist with the Health Education Center at Butler University. Dr Sprunger obtained board certification in Pharmacotherapy in 2005 and was awarded the Butler University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Outstanding Pharmacy Professor Award in 2007. Dr. Sprunger serves as a program coordinator for the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program (IPTeC) and is actively involved with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). Her research and clinical practice interests include cardiovascular risk reduction, substance abuse education and prevention, dyslipidemia, health promotion as well as residency training and mentorship.
