Rick has recently joined the Butler University community as an Adjunct Professor in both the Lacey School of Business and the College of Communications, having returned to the U.S. after much of the past forty+ years living, working (and teaching) abroad. He has alternatively called Paris, Brussels and Milano his home... but has spent much of his professional career in airports and on fast trains. From Zagreb to Shanghai. From Calgary to Hannover. From London to San Francisco. To wherever one of his clients may have had a need. From Procter & Gamble to Nestle. From Fiat to Microsoft. From Budweiser to Haworth. There are few business categories where Rick has not made a pro-active strategic contribution in the field.

Former CEO of a multinational communications group in Milano, former Managing Director of an Italian multinational subsidiary in Chicago, former President of a leading Media Planning/Buying organization in Italy and currently co-founder and Managing Partner of brandstory, a leading-edge brand strategy consultancy, Rick considers university teaching as his "love job." From the European School of Economics (ESE) and the European Design Institute (IED) in Milano, to Butler University in Indianapolis! At both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Specializing in international cross-cultural Management, Marketing and Marketing Communications issues, Rick also has much hands-on experience in the diagnosis and management of Organizational Culture Change. For large multinational organizations, as well as small family-owned businesses.

It was quite unexpected at the time, but Rick's BBA from Notre Dame and MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management have combined to take him far - both career-wise and geographically. And he wouldn't have had it any other way.
