Barry E. King, PhD is an associate professor of information systems and operations management in the Lacy School of Business. His primary areas of research are predictive analytics using R and SAS, operations research modeling, and data mining. His work has appeared in Management Science, Decision Science, and Harvard Business Review. Besides teaching in these areas, he teaches database design, information technology, and operations management. He will be on sabbatical leave fall 2016 to return to graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis where he will continue his studies of predictive analytics and data warehousing.
