Go Dawgs! Hi, my name is Krista Cline and I am Associate Professor of Sociology and Criminology at Butler University. Before coming to Butler, I spent a year at the University of Missouri as a Postdoctoral Researcher in their Research Center for Human Animal Interactions. Before that, I earned a dual-title Ph.D. in sociology and gerontology from Purdue University. My research interests include the roles of women and mothers, health and body weight issues, and social psychology. I teach a variety of courses including; research methods, international crime, gender, race, and crime, health and aging, and gender and society.
Aside from teaching and research, I keep very busy raising five young boys with my husband, Shawn. I enjoy playing indoor soccer, running, swimming, biking, and doing Insanity. I love to cook and bake as well.
