Dr. Deborah Zeitlin is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Butler University. She received her PharmD from Butler University followed by a PGY1 residency at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals (now Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center Main Hospital) and a PGY2 specialty residency in Ambulatory Care at University of Illinois at Chicago. She has continued to work in ambulatory care throughout her career. Currently, she maintains a practice site at IUHP Glendale Primary Care as a clinical pharmacist, where P4 pharmacy students on their monthly APPE rotations practice during their ambulatory care rotation. She instructs P2 students in the Self-Care and Health Promotion course and the P3 students in Clinical Pharmacokinetics. Her clinical practice and research interests include anticoagulation and chronic disease state management in a primary care setting.
