Andrew Chastain is an Assistant Professor in PA Studies. He graduated from Indiana University School of Allied Health Sciences with a B.S. in Respiratory Therapy. He completed his PA training at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Primary Care Associate Program with Foothill College in Palo Alto, California. Andrew previously held a Clinical Assistant Professor appointment within the Stanford University School of Medicine as a faculty member for the Master of Science in PA Studies Program. He currently sees patients at Ascension St. Vincent Women's Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Current teaching assignments include:
- Summer: Physiology for PAs
- Fall: History & Physical Exam Laboratory; Lectures within Clinical Medicine and Pharmacotherapeutics 2
- Spring: Pediatrics; Clinical Procedures Laboratory
Andrew is the current President of the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants, and holds fellow membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Education Association, and the Society for Physician Assistants in Pediatrics. He enjoys spending time traveling with his wife Jenny and their wire fox terrier, Charley.
