The Butler University Office of Alumni Relations and Engagement is committed to you. You are forever part of the Butler family, and we know that recent circumstances related to COVID-19 have affected your lives in many ways.
CAPS provides services to alumni for a lifetime and is here to help you with career planning and the job search process. Alumni can meet with a career advisor virtually by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by logging into Handshake at butler.joinhandshake.com and requesting an appointment. For a full list of career resources available to alumni, please visit the CAPS home page.
Butler Executive Education has a number of online certificate and test prep courses for those looking to upskill during this time. Alumni receive a 20% discount on enrollment fees with the promo code DawgAlumni (note: promo code is case sensitive; discount excludes CFP Test Prep, Insurance and Bootcamps). Developed in collaboration with Butler faculty and industry experts, the courses are set up in small condensed learning videos (2-15 minutes each) with application exercises (both readings and project work) immediately following the videos to drive the concepts home immediately and should take you between 5-12 hours per course. The Butler Executive Education approach works with your schedule and not on a pre-set time frame, so you can begin today and proceed at a pace that works for you.
You can access Building Better Bulldogs webinars from the Alumni Association on topics related to career and professional development. These free sessions are available to help you navigate the changing job market.
