White Coat Ceremony
The White Coat Ceremony carries the symbolism of past accomplishments, entry into the professional program, and support. In 2000, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences held its first White Coat Ceremony. Over 2,700 Butler pharmacy and PA students have received their first white coat through donations from parents, alumni, faculty, staff, professional partners, and friends of the college.
The 18th annual White Coat Ceremony will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 3:00 PM in Clowes Memorial Hall. No tickets are required for the event. Seating will begin in Clowes Memorial Hall at 2:30 PM. An outside reception will be held in the Academic Quad immediately following the ceremony.
Please consider making the White Coat Ceremony special for our students by sponsoring a student's white coat for $50. If your donation is received by August 1, your name will be shared with the student receiving your coat. You may designate the recipient of your coat if you wish. Please indicate your request in the Notes for "Other" Designation text box. Click here to make your donation.
