Physician Assistant Preceptors
Preceptors are key to providing hands-on learning experiences for our PA students over the course of their training. Our students complete clinical rotations in the following specialties:
- Family medicine
- Internal medicine
- Emergency medicine
- General surgery
- Mental health
- Women’s health
Preceptors for our program must be a licensed physician (MD or DO), physician assistant, or nurse practitioner and have at least one year of experience in your current specialty. If you are interested in becoming a preceptor for our program, please complete our preceptor affiliation form and send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For more information, please visit our PA clinical phase site as well as the Butler University PA Program Preceptor Information Packet.
If you have any further questions about becoming a preceptor for our PA students, please contact:
- Jennifer Guthrie, PA-C, Director of Experiential Education, PA Program
Pharmacy and Health Sciences Building, 257
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our preceptors for their continued support to our students and our programs. Without this level of support we would be unable to adequately prepare students for future practice opportunities. Please feel free to follow the experiential education office on Facebook and Twitter.
