Program suspended for the academic year 2020-2021.
Become a Master’s student in Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS) encompasses research related to drug discovery, nanotechnology, drug delivery, pharmaceutics, neuropharmacology, cancer pharmacology, bioinformatics. The MSPS program has a structure to support student progress preparing them for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, or to continue their education with an advanced professional or PhD degree.
The program is grounded on having an individual advisor that follows student progress through course work (30 credit hours) and a research project with faculty or industrial collaborators where students are working. External validation is through student presentation at national meetings and peer reviewed publications. Some of the students are actively working in the pharmaceutical industry.
A research focus of the members of the graduate program can be found in the left tab. A description of the focus of the Pharmaceutical Sciences department can be found following the link: www.butler.edu/cophs/pharmaceutical-sciences-faculty
The graduates of our program work in settings including “ Pharma and Biotech,” advance study PhD or professional programs, and government agencies.
