Please keep in mind that E-Bills are not &#8220;updated&#8221; for any reason (e.g. changes in enrollment, meal plans,&nbsp;financial aid, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-e-bill\"><strong>E-Bill<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>When the E-Bill is available to view, an e-mail is sent to students&#8217; Butler e-mail address AND to&nbsp;any authorized PAYERs that students have created from <a href=\"https:\/\/commerce.cashnet.com\/BUTLER\">billing@butler.edu<\/a>.&nbsp;To access E-Bill &amp; E-Pay, log in to your&nbsp; <strong>my.butler.edu<\/strong>&nbsp; account, click on the&nbsp;<strong>PS Campus Solutions<\/strong>&nbsp;tile, then the&nbsp;<strong>Student Center<\/strong>&nbsp;tile.&nbsp;In the <em>Student Center,<\/em> under the FINANCES heading, select <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.butler.edu\/www\/sites\/19\/2021\/12\/08104255\/e-bill_final.pdf\"><em>View Bills<\/em><\/a>.&nbsp;In addition to viewing the billing statement, making electronic payments, creating authorized PAYER accounts and expediting receipt of the 1098T document are also options that are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please note: Financial Aid, including loans, may be indicated on the E-Bill as Anticipated Aid which means the aid has been included in the calculation for the amount due on the E-Bill.&nbsp;At the beginning of the fall and spring terms, the aid is scheduled to actually POST to students\u2019 accounts on the fifth day of class.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-e-pay\"><strong>E-Pay<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Electronic payments <\/b>from checking and savings accounts can be submitted with <strong>NO fee<\/strong>.&nbsp;View the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.butler.edu\/www\/sites\/19\/2021\/12\/08104255\/e-pay1.pdf\">instructions<\/a> to make a payment via E-Pay.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>529 plan payments,<\/strong> from a list of supported plans, can also be submitted via E-Pay.&nbsp;A $10.00 convenience fee applies.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Credit card<\/strong> <strong>payments<\/strong> must be made via E-Pay. Credit card payments via mail, phone or in person <strong>cannot<\/strong> be processed.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note<\/strong>:&nbsp;The minimum non-refundable fee of $3.00 applies to payments over $20.00 and less than $106.00.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 2.95%\u202f non-refundable fee applies to domestic credit card payments and a 4.25% non-refundable fee applies to international credit card payments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-monthly-payment-plan\"><strong>Monthly Payment Plan<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>**<strong>Monthly Payment Plan Updates \u2014 2026\u20132027 Academic Year<\/strong><em>*<\/em>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student Accounts is excited to offer a&nbsp;<strong>new and improved Monthly Payment Plan<\/strong>&nbsp;designed with students and families in mind. This updated plan provides a more flexible, modern experience with an easy\u2011to\u2011use format that helps you manage your tuition and fees with confidence. Updates are being made to the&nbsp;<strong>Monthly Payment Plan for the 2026\u20132027 Academic Year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>**Please check back often for the latest details as information becomes available.**<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When Can I Enroll?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrollment for payment plans will open <strong>mid\u2011July<\/strong>, after <strong>Fall 2026 billing statements<\/strong> are available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Students and authorized payers will be able to enroll<\/strong> through the online E-Bill &amp; E-Pay system once the plan opens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Payment Plan Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Butler University will continue to offer a <strong>four\u2011month payment plan<\/strong> for the fall and spring semesters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Monthly Payment Plan will <strong>not automatically renew<\/strong> from one year to the next. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important to Know<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to use the <strong>Fall 2026 Monthly Payment Plan<\/strong>, you must <strong>enroll each semester<\/strong> once the plan becomes available.<br>Enrollment from a previous year <strong>will not carry over<\/strong>, so be sure to sign up if you\u2019d like to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong> A <strong>Non-Refundable<\/strong> $25 participation fee applies for the fall &amp; spring terms.\u00a0<strong>A payment plan is not available for the summer term.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-payment-information\"><strong>Payment Information<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Please review additional payment information, including paper checks and the Prepaid Tuition Plan available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/payment-information\/\">Payment Information<\/a> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-creating-authorized-payer-accounts\"><strong>Creating Authorized Payer Accounts<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>An Authorized Payer (AP) is anyone who is assisting a student with their financial obligation.&nbsp;Students can create as many authorized Payers as they want.&nbsp;To create an authorized Payer, students log into E-Bill &amp; E-Pay:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on name (top left) and&nbsp;in your profile (basic information)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.butler.edu\/www\/sites\/19\/2021\/12\/08104255\/authorized_payers.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">section<\/a>, scroll down to <strong>Payers <\/strong>and click on <em>Send a payer invitation<\/em>. Complete Payer\u2019s name and email address. Adding a message is optional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the invitation is sent, the Payer receives&nbsp;an e-mail notification from <a href=\"mailto:e-pay@butler.edu\">e-pay@butler.edu<\/a> with a temporary password.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If Payer doesn\u2019t receive an e-mail in their IN box, check JUNK or SPAM folders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payers have a separate web address which is included in the e-mail with the temporary password and on all subsequent notifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After an authorized PAYER account is created, the PAYER receives e-mail notifications from <a href=\"mailto:epay@butler.edu\">epay@butler.edu<\/a> and may view the student&#8217;s E-Bill and make electronic payments by logging on <a href=\"https:\/\/commerce.cashnet.com\/butler\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">commerce.cashnet.com\/butler<\/a>.&nbsp; (CASHNet is now Transact, however, web address indicated for Authorized Payers is still correct.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note:&nbsp;<\/strong>If APs forget their password, there are 2 options to reset:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students can reset when logged into the E-Bill &amp; E-Pay system. Click on the &#8220;pencil&#8221; next to the Payer&#8217;s name and select, <em style=\"color: var(--color-blue-butler); font-family: var(--font-family-base); font-size: var(--font-size-body);\">Resend payer invitation<\/em>. The Payer will receive an email with a new temporary password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AP can go to <a href=\"https:\/\/commerce.cashnet.com\/cashneti\/static\/epayment\/butler\/login?isGuestUser=no\">E-Bill &amp; E-Pay<\/a>, click on <strong>Forgot Password<\/strong>, and follow the prompts to complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-having-trouble-viewing-your-e-bill\"><strong>Having trouble viewing your E-Bill?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>When you attempt to view your E-Bill or make an electronic payment, do you receive a message that states, &#8220;you are not authorized to access&#8230;&#8221;? If so, you are experiencing a browser issue.
