Mark McFatridge

Mark McFatridge is the Executive Director of the Old National Bank Center for Business Excellence. Prior to joining the Center, Mark held executive and strategic leadership positions in the financial sector for almost 30 years.

As Chief Administrative and Financial Officer, he served on the integration team during a merger of equals that created a $125 billion bank. This experience led to an understanding of how organizations operate functionally and culturally. These understandings resulted in multiple executive leadership opportunities. After leading a $500 million community bank to twice being named one of American Banker’s “Best Banks to Work For,” Mark negotiated its sale to a $1.5 billion, publicly traded regional bank and was named CEO of the acquiring bank holding company.

Upon leading the integration of the 2 banks and subsequent record performance, Mark retired from banking and entered the world of closely held businesses with the purchase of a small company and the start-up of a second. Mark earned his MBA in Finance and BS in Accounting from the Lacy School of Business at Butler University.

Ginger Lippert is the Manager of the Old National Bank Center for Business Excellence. Ginger brings over fifteen years of marketing, sales and leadership experience to the ONB Center.

Lippert began her professional career at TF Publishing and worked in numerous roles including licensing, marketing and sales. Ginger developed and maintained partnerships with a variety of high profile licensors including NASCAR, Ford, Marvel, and Crayola, and then she moved into a sales role selling to all the major U.S. retailers. Eventually, she served as the Vice President of Sales, where she managed the sales team and the relationships with key national accounts.

Ginger joined the Butler Business Consulting Group in 2010, and has led and delivered consulting engagements for over 50 Indiana businesses focusing on marketing strategy, outsourced marketing services, sales process design and marketing systems implementation. Through her consulting work, Ginger served as companies’ marketing leader, interfacing with sales teams, customer support teams and executive management to guide strategic decisions as well as implement a variety of marketing initiatives. Ginger is a two-time Butler University alumna with an MBA in Leadership and a BS in Marketing.

As Administrative Specialist for the Old National Bank Center for Business Excellence, Brooke McCormack manages numerous projects to help support the ONB Center’s mission. Brooke has a varied background in event and conference planning, office coordination, and administrative support. She has worked in a range of industries including non-profit member organizations and privately held tech companies. She holds her BA in Communication from Wittenberg University.

Track One Student Interns

The Track 1 team works alongside the ONB Center staff to complete project work for Partners and Members as well as internal projects. The Track 1 team is made up of junior or senior Lacy School of Business students with a range of majors and skill sets. Hometown: Mustang, OK

Major: Finance & MIS

Past Experiences: Victor worked with Republic Airways for eight months in the IT Service Center supporting thousands of crew members and corporate employees across a wide variety of platforms. Victor also worked for the ONB Center in the spring.

Hobbies: Reading, video games, fishing.

Neil Bhatt

Hometown: Jeffersonville, IN

Major: Finance

Past Experiences: Neil was a summer student at Regional Health, where he reported the condition of patients prior to a physician entering the room and assisting with administrative tasks and shadowed and assisted physicians in both emergency room and immediate care settings.

Hobbies: Mountain biking, tennis and photography.

Matt Boucher

Matthew (Matt) Boucher

Hometown: Putnam, IL

Major: Finance

Past Experiences: Matt was a financial planning intern for Financial Plans and Strategies, where he evaluated accounts and assisted in rebalancing client portfolios and completed special projects such as performing investment and mutual fund research for accounts.

Hobbies: Golfing, road trips, and philanthropy.

Alyssa Johnson

Hometown: Edwardsville, IL

Major: Finance and Economics

Past Experiences: Alyssa is the Student Ambassador for the Butler Office of Admissions, where she guides campus tours for prospective students and families, as well as shares knowledge and answer questions about Butler and student life. Alyssa was also the Chief Operations Officer for her Real Business Experience group, Dawg Pouches, where she co-developed concept/business, contacted suppliers and created professional relationships.

Hobbies: Traveling, basketball, hiking, and reading

Hometown: Guayaquil, Ecuador

Major: International Business & Marketing

Past Experiences: Natalia was a Student Assistant at Butler University’s Human Resources, where she evaluated and updated Butler’s job descriptions and application status on the website, PageUp. Natalia was also the Exports Assistant at Natluk S.A. Seafood Supplier, where she updated the data recording system to monitor expenses and comply with regulatory requirements on exports.

Hobbies: Outdoor activities, pilates & yoga, and traveling.

Hometown: Dyer, IN

Major: Economics and Finance

Past Experiences: Mason worked at a branch of GNC during the school year, and is currently working for the furniture store Urban Decor Warehouse, where he works in the warehouse moving and assembling furniture as well as doing deliveries for the company.

Hobbies: Weight training and reading.

Cassidy Patscot

Hometown: Waukesha, WI

Major: Finance and Marketing

Past Experiences: Cassidy was the Service Delivery Operations Intern at Cielo, where she Specialized in recruitment, interviewing, and talent acquisition for healthcare and commercial clients and led the completion of internal projects related to capacity utilization, SLAs, global training program, management allocation and other business operations. Cassidy was also the Amazon Prime Campus Manager with Amazon Prime, where she increased campus engagement with the Amazon Prime Student brand through weekly and monthly events and social media marketing.

Hobbies: Traveling, exercising, and spending time with friends/family.

Past Experiences: Gracen was the Chief Executive Office at Bright Blue and had Marketing Internships at Evergreen Leadership and at Fullstack PEO.

Past Experiences: Alea was a Healthcare Consulting Intern at Core Finance Team, where she traveled to hospitals across the U.S., assessed and audited the financial health of 10 healthcare systems. Alea was also Marketing Intern at Greenscape Geeks, where she compiled organizational, market, and competitor research.

Past Experiences: Bella was the first marketing intern at WestPoint Financial Group and was able to help the financial advisors find new and creative ways to market themselves. Bella also worked for the ONB Center in the spring.

Past Experiences: Briana was an Account Executive of Project Management at Bright Blue, where she was the liaison between Bright Blue and clients and strategized and communicated with clients on marketing needs to deliver exceptional content and ensure client satisfaction

Matt Shapiro

Matthew (Matt) Shapiro

Hometown: Wilmette, IL

Major: Marketing with a minor in Political Science

Past Experiences: Matthew worked at the restaurant Lou Malnatis, where he answered phones and placed orders and fulfilled multiple kitchen duties in a timely and organized manner. Duties included cutting and boxing pizzas, restocking coolers, and preparing salads and dressings. Matthew also worked at the grocery store Jewel Osco, where he stocked shelves in different departments of the store and assisted customers in locating and transporting items.

Hobbies: Karate and running.

Past Experiences: Connor worked as a Loan Agency Intern at Alter Domus and was a Governor’s Summer Intern at INDOT.

The Business Camp Project team is working to evaluate the potential of Butler University developing and introducing a future summer camp for high school students. The student interns will evaluate the strategic fit and economic potential of such an offering and develop detailed plans regarding how the camp would be implemented. The Business Camp would serve as a recruiting tool for future Butler University and Lacy School of Business students.

Launch HOPE Project

The Launch HOPE Project team will focus on a number of projects across multiple business functions that will be focused on the set up and launch of the new center for the Launch HOPE Foundation. The Launch HOPE Foundation provides employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to women in need and differently-abled individuals. Students will do projects for the Launch HOPE Foundation that include creating enhancements to their website, identifying government contracting opportunities, and much more.

Delta Faucet Project

The Delta Faucet Project team will work alongside Professor McQuiston as well as a representative from Delta Faucet to develop a marketing strategy for the company’s Digital Native Vertical Brand. Digital Native Vertical Brand products are sold almost exclusively online with virtually no retail presence. The goal for this project is to understand what makes an exclusively online brand successful, then transition into primary and secondary research with the goal of providing Delta Faucet with some recommendations for moving forward with establishing the brand.
