Whether your goal is to work in artificial intelligence, build secure systems, design life-saving medical software, or launch a tech startup, a degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering (SE) gives you the foundation to find practical, real-world solutions to complex problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-about-ai-nbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-theme-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1\">What About AI?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If AI can write code, will we still need software engineers and computer scientists?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-theme-black-color has-theme-secondary-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The answer is <\/strong><strong>yes<\/strong><strong>.&nbsp; We need them even more than ever.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI tools are transforming technology, but they aren&#8217;t replacing computer scientists.&nbsp; Instead, they amplify what a single engineer can do.  And who will build all those customized AI tools?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Coding vs. Engineering:<\/strong> AI can write code, but it cannot design secure network architectures, solve complex business challenges, build new data structures or algorithms, or ensure data privacy.  AI cannot innovate on its own.
