It is one of the oldest and most versatile engineering disciplines, covering areas such as mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, materials, and control systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mechanical engineers work on a wide range of technologies, from engines, machines, and manufacturing equipment to renewable energy systems, robotics, aerospace, and medical devices.
