B.A. in Art + Design as a Secondary Major
The B.A. in Art + Design can also be added as a secondary major for students whose primary major is not art; see this link in the Application for Current Butler Students section for additional information and degree requirements.
We are pleased to announce the new Art + Design plus Engineering Dual Degree Program (EDDP)! In this five-year degree program, students will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Art + Design from Butler University and a degree in engineering from Butler’s program partner, the Purdue School of Engineering at Indianapolis. Emphases can be added to the Art + Design degree, and are available in Art History, Graphic Design, Lens-Based Media, and Painting and Drawing.
Art + Design Minor
A minor in Art + Design is available through the Jordan College of the Arts to students whose primary major is not in art. It consists of twenty-one (21) credit hours, of which twelve (12) are specified. For specific requirements, see the Art + Design Minor curriculum guide.
Art History Minor
A minor in Art History is available through the Jordan College of the Arts to students whose primary major is not in art. It consists of twenty-one (21) credit hours, of which six (6) are specified. For specific requirements, see the Art History Minor curriculum guide.
