Black Alumni Association
The Black Alumni Association (BAA) assists African-American graduates in maintaining strong connections with their alma mater. With programming specifically designed for minority alumni of any age, the BAA provides an opportunity for you to socialize with your fellow graduates, network for career opportunities, and serve both the community and Butler. The association consists of alumni who have volunteered to give of their time, talents and treasures.

The Butler University Black Alumni Association Executive Team consists of three officers (president, vice president and secretary), each serving a two-year term.
President: Serves as the leader for the BAA. The president is an ex-officio member of the Alumni Board of Directors, which meets three times a year on Butler’s campus.
Vice president: Serves as the chair for the BAA scholarship. Also assumes the duties of president when the president is unavailable.
Event Chair: Serves as the chair for the communications committee. Also responsible for accurate record keeping for the organization including meeting minutes.
