The Office of Admission and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/\">Office of Student Accounts<\/a> are here to help. Refer back to this list to ensure you stay informed and on track when it comes to paying the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-billing-schedule\">Billing Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All billing statements are electronic and published the second Wednesday of every month. The first E-Bill for the fall&nbsp;semester is published mid-July and is due in full the first of August unless&nbsp;student is enrolled in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/billing-payment\/monthly-payment-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monthly Payment Plan<\/a>&nbsp;(four payments).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first E-Bill for the spring semester is published mid-December and is due in full the first of January unless student is enrolled in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/monthly-payment-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monthly Payment Plan<\/a>&nbsp;(four payments).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please review&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/billing-payment\/epay-ebill\/dates\/\">E-Bill Publish Dates &amp; Due Dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-monthly-payment-plan\">Monthly Payment Plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Butler University offers a Monthly Payment Plan for eligible students during the fall &amp; spring semesters, allowing balances to be paid over four monthly installments. Students and authorized payers can enroll directly through&nbsp;<strong>Butler\u2019s online E\u2011Bill and E\u2011pay system<\/strong>&nbsp;when logged in. Enrollment will open in mid-July after the Fall 2026 billing statements are available. Additional information is available in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/monthly-payment-plan\/\">Monthly Payment Plan<\/a>&nbsp;section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-e-pay-payment-information-and-authorized-payers\">E-Pay, Payment Information, and Authorized Payers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/billing-payment\/\">E-Pay<\/a> allows you to submit electronic payments and credit card payments. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/payment-information\/\">Paper checks<\/a>\u2014including 529 plan payments\u2014can be submitted in person and by mail. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/international-student-payments\/\">International payments <\/a>can be submitted via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paymytuition.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PayMyTuition<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also create authorized payers for anyone assisting you with your financial obligations to Butler University. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/billing-payment\/#authorized-payers\">Authorized Payers<\/a> receive email notifications when the E-Bill is available and have their own access to view the bill and make payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-anticipated-aid\">Anticipated Aid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Financial aid that you&#8217;ve accepted is included on your E-Bill as &#8220;anticipated.&#8221; The aid posts to your student account the fifth day of classes. Any &#8220;pending&#8221; funds (e.g., outside scholarships) are not included in your Anticipated Aid until the funds have been received and processed by the Office of Financial Aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-federal-financial-aid\">Federal Financial Aid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Per federal regulations, you must <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/federal-aid-student-permission\/\">grant permission for all of your federal (Title IV) funds<\/a> (e.g., Pell Grant, Direct Loans) to be applied to all miscellaneous charges (e.g., bookstore charges, parking decals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-copies-of-e-bills\">Copies of E-Bills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If outside scholarship sources, 529 savings plan administrators, etc., have requested a copy of your E-Bill, forward immediately upon receipt to ensure payments are received by the Office of Student Accounts by the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-expedite-receipt-of-1098t-annual-tax-form\">Expedite Receipt of 1098T (Annual Tax Form)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can sign up for paperless delivery at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/my.butler.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">my.butler.edu<\/a>. Log in to your&nbsp;my.butler.edu&nbsp;account and select&nbsp;PS Campus Solutions. This will take you to your&nbsp;Student Center Homepage. Under the&nbsp;<em>FINANCES<\/em>&nbsp;heading, select\u202f<em>View Bills.&nbsp;<\/em>Select\u202f<em>Tax Forms<\/em>\u202fon the left menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will then select&nbsp;<em>Sign Up<\/em>&nbsp;under the&nbsp;<em>Sign Up for Paperless Delivery<\/em>&nbsp;heading. Visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/1098t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Office of Student Accounts website<\/a>&nbsp;for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-annual-health-insurance-requirement\">Annual Health Insurance Requirement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students, graduate students enrolled in six or more credit hours, and undergraduate international students must have health insurance while attending Butler University. If you already have health insurance coverage, you must complete the online waiver after full-time enrollment and before mid-August, when the waiver site closes. The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.universityhealthplans.com\/butler\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">waiver site<\/a>&nbsp;opens mid-June and the waiver must be completed each year. If you do not waive the health insurance plan by mid-August the annual cost of the Student Health Insurance will be included in your September E-Bill published the 2nd Wednesday in September. Important Dates are available on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/campus-services\/student-accounts\/health-insurance-requirement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student Accounts website<\/a>.
