students\u2014those who received Federal Pell Grant for the 2019\u20132020 academic year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-eligible-expenses-amp-eligibility-requirements\">Eligible Expenses &amp; Eligibility Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CARES Act Emergency Grants are intended to assist <strong>only<\/strong> with real expenses you have incurred as a disruption of your studies due to campus closure because of COVID-19.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible expenses for the CARES Act Emergency Grant include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health vehicle expenses related to the crisis; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other expenses that are reasonably tied to the disruption of your education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Items NOT eligible for the CARES Act Grants include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Student account balances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University charges (tuition, room, board, fees, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replacement of lost income.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expenses from Monday, March 16 through the summer term may be included in this application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Funds are limited and maximum grant amounts may Students must be Title IV (Federal student aid) eligible to receive these funds which encompasses 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students at Butler University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-disbursement-of-cares-act-emergency-grants\">Disbursement of CARES Act Emergency Grants<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>*This number represents the total number of checks issues.
