Any full-time Butler University student who has not yet earned a baccalaureate or PharmD degree is eligible to apply for Travel-to-Present grants and Honors Thesis grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All grant applications are reviewed by the Program for Undergraduate Research Committee. The committee is comprised of faculty members representing all six of Butler&#8217;s colleges. Students should direct questions about these grants to either their faculty advisor or to the <a href=\"mailto:falceste@butler.edu\">Faculty Director of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, Fabiana Alceste<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forms and guidelines are available in electronic format below. <strong>All applications must be typed<\/strong>\u2014any non-typed applications will be returned.&nbsp;<strong>After all signatures have been received, applications must&nbsp;be scanned and emailed as one PDF document to the <a href=\"mailto:chase@butler.edu\">undergraduate research grant<\/a> mailbox.<\/strong> Applications containing multiple attachments will be returned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"acc-flex-container\">\n\t<div class=\"acc-title-container\" role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"3\">\n\t\t<button id='block_acf-block-6973d3a3cab62-acc-row' class='acc-row' type='button' aria-expanded='false' aria-controls='block_acf-block-6973d3a3cab62_acc-content-panel'>\n\t\t\t<div id='block_acf-block-6973d3a3cab62-acc-title' class='acc-title'>\n\t\t\t\tTravel-To-Present Conference Grant ($500 maximum award\/applicant)\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<img alt=\"\" id='block_acf-block-6973d3a3cab62-acc-img' class='acc-icon' src='https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/plugins\/butler-acf-blocks-new\/assets\/images\/nav_main_icon_open.png' \/>\n\t\t<\/button>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div role=\"region\" aria-hidden='true'\n\t\tid='block_acf-block-6973d3a3cab62-acc-content-panel' class='acc-panel' aria-labelledby=\"block_acf-block-6973d3a3cab62-acc-row\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>This grant is designed to help defray the cost of travel to a conference to present the results of original research\/creative endeavor. The Committee prioritizes competitively selected oral presentations over other presentations. The grant may cover items such as copying survey forms;&nbsp;small equipment (e.g., paper, pencils, batteries);&nbsp;and office, museum, or library access fees. The Committee may approve funds for travel if it is integral to the thesis project. This&nbsp;grant is not intended to finance the copying of the completed thesis.
