Each BU First program starts with:

  • A 15- to 20-minute meet and greet with a first-generation Butler faculty/staff/graduate telling their story.

Each BU First program concludes with:

  •  Questions from the Dawg Dish: Students may submit their questions anonymously and we’ll do our best to answer!

First-generation students face a variety of challenges that their peers do not experience. As a first-generation student, what challenges am I likely to face? What can I do to overcome them? What can I do to be proactive? Find the answers to these questions and many more at Being First.

The Imposter Syndrome
