Is retirement just around the corner for you? Please join us for an afternoon of informative presentations and discussions with retirement experts. Our goal is to help you navigate the path ahead and make your transition from Butler employee to Retiree as smooth as possible.
Andrew Flittner is an independent consultant in the area of retirement benefits and Medicare. He has over 13 years consulting experience and for the last 8 years has been the owner and principal of Independent Senior Insurance. His focus is advising individuals on Medicare and retirement issues. Andrew is a member of NAHU, the National Association of Health Underwriters and he has current AHIP certification which is required by insurance companies in order to advise clients about Medicare Advantage plans. He earned his MBA in Health Policy from the IU School of Medicine and his JD, specializing in health law, from the Indiana University Law School in Indianapolis. Andrew lives in Indianapolis with his wife and child.
As the endorsed insurance administrator of Butler University’s Retiree Medical Program, AmWINS Group Benefits, a division of AmWINS Group Inc., is pleased to speak to you regarding eligibility for retiree medical and prescription drug insurance. The program is available to University retirees and their spouses, who are age 65 or older, no longer working and enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B. Butler University will inform AmWINS that when you turn age 65, or are already 65 and will be retiring. In either event, you will be eligible to participate in the company-sponsored Retiree Medical Program.
CHAD MORRIS: Chad Morris joined Gregory and Appel in 2011 and serves as a Senior Benefits Consultant. Chad has over 4 years of experience in the employee benefits insurance field. Corporate Wellness is a passion and a focus for Chad. Prior to joining Gregory and Appel, Chad has worked in several different roles in the employee benefits insurance industry including client service, consulting, and agency management. In 2013, he received his Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) certification. He brings a well-rounded base of business expertise as well.
TAMI GRAY-MYERS: Tami Gray-Myers is the Assistant Vice President/Benefits Service Manager for Gregory and Appel. Tami has over 30 years' experience in the employee benefits insurance and consulting/brokerage field with a primary focus in the healthcare industry. She has extensive experience in group purchased employee benefit programs, management, and customer service. Tami manages the group benefits account management and customer service team. She also serves as Senior Account Manager on a few select accounts. Tami holds a Business Degree from the University of Indianapolis as well as her Indiana Life and Health Insurance license. She is a member of the Indiana Association of Health Underwriters. Tami also is an ACA professional certified by the National Association of Health Underwriters.

What is SHIP? The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is a free and impartial counseling program for people with Medicare. SHIP is provided by the Administration on Community Living and the Indiana Department of Insurance. We are part of a federal network of State Health Insurance Assistance Programs located in every state. All of our services are free. SHIP is not affiliated with any insurance company or agency and does not sell insurance. Staffed by a crew of volunteer counselors who have completed intensive training to offer you objective assistance in complete confidence.
JOHN WILLIAMS: John has served as Indiana SHIP's Medicare Specialist since 2012 doing statewide Medicare-related public education and outreach. He also serves as a key Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Medicare and Medicaid technical resource person for SHIP's 300 counselors in Indiana. He worked for the Social Security Administration from 1974 to 2011 doing Social Security, Supplement Security Income and Medicare community outreach and education as well as covering claims and public affairs workloads. From 1968 to 1973, John worked as a Food Stamp Program caseworker and adult Public Assistance Programs and Medicaid eligibility supervisor with the Lake County Indiana Department of Public Welfare. John graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1968 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Psychology and Sociology.He has helped many adult Hoosiers apply for and receive financial and medical benefits from various public and private sources. He attempts to enable people by providing them the knowledge they need to successfully pursue benefits from Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Medicare, Medicaid and related programs.

Jenny Kremer is a Director of Financial Consulting working with TIAA’s clients in Indiana and Ohio. Jenny has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, nearly ten of which have been with TIAA. Prior to TIAA, Jenny was a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and Retirement Counselor with Fidelity Investments.
As a FINRA registered representative, Jenny holds Series 7 and 66 licenses and maintains Life, Health and Variable Annuity licenses. Jenny is a proud graduate of The University of Dayton, where she earned her BS in Finance with International Business and German minors. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and 2 children.
