Course Requirements:

1. Attendance:

     You are expected in class for every session. If you missed a class, it is your own responsibility to learn
      the subject covered in the class.

2. Assignments:

 

 

  • There will be both Homework /programming  assignments.
  • All assignments must be submitted during the first 10 minutes of class on the specified due date.
  • All assignments must be stapled or securely bound.
  • You must show all work and explain how you obtained your answers.

3. Exams:

There will be several announced quizzes, 2 in class exams and a final. No make up quiz or exam will be given.

Exam Date:

  Exam 1,   February  15              Exam 2     March 28,          Final:  Monday, May 5, 8:00--10:00a.m.

Grading:    Your score will by computed by using the following category weights:

Final course grades will be determined by your total points as a percentage of the total possible points using the following scale:

100-93%    A

82-80% B-

69-67% D+

92-90% A-

79-77% C+

66-63% D

89-87% B+

76-73% C

62-60% D-

86-83% B

72-70% C-

59-0% F

Attendance, promptness, and class participation will be factors if the grade is on the border.

Late Policy for Assignments:
Penalty for late assignments: -30% by next meeting, -60% after but within one week, -100% afterwards.
