Mission: Enriching the lives of Indiana's youth by inspiring them to discover their strengths.

Volunteer Opportunities: The Jameson Camp Youth Leadership Mentoring Program helps youth to develop leadership skills such as effective communication, planning, and teamwork. The mentoring program uses adult volunteers to commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to a Jameson Camp Youth Leader for a period of at least two years. The mentor will help empower the Youth Leader to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their potential.

-Take the lead in supporting a young person through an ongoing, one-on-one relationship

-Serve as a positive role model and friend

-Build the relationship by planning and participating in activities with mentee

-Strive for mutual respect

-Build self-esteem and motivation

-Help set goals and work toward accomplishing them

-Make a two-year commitment

-Spend a minimum of 2 hours every 2 weeks

-Communicate with the mentee weekly

-Attend bimonthly mentor/mentee group event
