Mission: We work by accepting donated
perishable and overstocked food to prepare nutritious meals for
thousands of hungry children and adults every day, and distributing
them free of charge through local social service agencies in
Greater Indianapolis. We also train unemployed and
underemployed adults for meaningful careers in the culinary
industry.

There is a volunteer orientation and
safe food handling class for all volunteers. It takes about an hour
and a half. We do a tour of our building, watch videos about how to
be safe in the kitchen, and complete a volunteer application. We
