Mission: Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national nonprofit
organization that is dedicated to creating independence and
self-sufficiency within the homeless and other underserved
populations by first engaging them in running as a means to build
confidence, strength and self-esteem.
Car Service Center
Mission: Service Center engages visitors of all ages and
backgrounds in creativity as a way to build community, provide
education and enrich lives -- and to transform a vacant building in
support of the 40-year-old Lafayette Square Mall (which is donating
the building) and the surrounding commercial and residential
HVAF of Indiana, Inc.
Indianapolis Legal Aid
Mission: The Indianapolis Legal Aid Society is dedicated to
ensuring that qualified low income persons living in the central
Indiana community have immediate and direct access to quality legal
assistance for civil disputes.
Mission: To provide a dynamic academic and field experience for
students from across the disciplines in peace building. To teach
conflict transformation skills. To develop leadership skills. To be
an educational partner with other peace building initiatives in the
Indianapolis community. To engage questions of values, faith,
beliefs, and ethical practice in peace building.

and programs that celebrate the success of the Indianapolis 500
Mile Race and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of

Mission: PBI is an international non-profit organization,
inspired by non-violent philosophies such as Gandhi and Martin
Luther King, Jr. PBI has been promoting nonviolent activism and
defending human rights since 1981. We envision a world in which
people address conflicts nonviolently, where human rights are
universally upheld, and social justice and intercultural respect
have become reality We believe that lasting solutions to conflict
cannot be imposed from the outside, but must be based on the
capacity and desires of local people.
