Mission: We strive to help develop mentors
committed to helping boys and girls grow into the next generation
of caring, confident, and competent adults.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers are needed
to mentors children in the community. Opportunities exist at
three different levels: 1) community-based mentors, 2) site-based
mentors, and 3) Amachi mentors. In community-based volunteering,
volunteers are paired with a single child and asked to meet with
them several times a month to do something within the community. In
site-based volunteering, volunteers meet with children at some
community site and enjoy time together. In Amachi volunteering,
volunteers meet with children who are impacted by an incarcerated
family member.
