Bazaar - November 23,2013
In general we need volunteers to help the day before each event
in the set up, on the event day and after the event with clean up.
Most of the events are held on Saturday. Interest and experience in
working with children is useful.
- Answers for Autism Bike Ride - Volunteers are needed on Friday
June 28 during different shifts between 10 am - 4 pm to help set up
for the Bike Ride. On Saturday, June 29, volunteers are needed
during different shifts between the hours of 5:30 am and 2 pm for
the following areas:
-registration: starting at
5:30 am Help register and distribute registration packets to bike
ride participants for the 40 mile ride and for the 1 mile family
-children activities: starting at 7
am help set up children activities (face painting,tattoos,crafts,
children games)and help run the various activities/games.
-route support: Help in the rest
areas along the route in distributing food and drinks to riders,
-Thursday, September 26 1 pm - 5 pm
to help set up tables in the different tents -Friday, September 27
10 am-1 pm to finish setting up tables and table clothes for the
-Saturday,September 28 7 am - 2 pm.
Volunteers are needed in various shifts throughout the day to help
with set up, registration, running children's activities in the
children's activity tent, supervise and provide assistance to
children who are using the various bounce houses, help with clean
up after the event 12:30 pm -2:00 pm.
- Answers for Autism Holiday Bazaar:
-Friday November 22 5-7 pm - Help
set up tables for vendors participating in the Holiday Bazaar.
-Saturday,November 23 8 am - 3 pm -
Volunteers are needed in various shifts to help greet vendors and
guide them to their booth, greet attendees and collect entrance
fees, help put away tables and clean up after the bazaar.
