Volunteer with the CUE

One of the mission's of the CUE is the responsible exploration and stewardship of the Indianapolis ecosystem.  We sponsor clean-ups and volunteering opportunities throughout the year.


White River Clean Up 2009

Please join us on Saturday October 3rd for our annual White River Clean Up.  Butler has adopted a 1.5 mile stretch of the White River as it runs along the western edge of campus.
We will be organizing three crews again this year and holding a lottery for the popular canoe crew.  The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run for about two-three hours.  For more information, contact the center at 317-940-6505.


Indiana Bicycle Coalition

bicycleindiana.org Indiana Bicycle Coalition is offering a part-time internship as assistant program manager. The purpose of IBC is to legitimize the bicycle in the State of Indiana through a cohesive state organization that represents the interest of all bicycle users and addresses all areas of concern to bicycle users. The assistant program manager will gain experience in all areas of non-profit program management. The intern will help with fundraising; grant writing and research, and public relations. The position will require approximately 15 hours a week and the intern may work remotely, when applicable. Midwest Invasive Plant Network

The Midwest Invasive Plant Network is seeking a student to volunteer once a week at their office. 

The volunteer's primary duties would be assisting with mailings of educational materials on invasive plants and maintaining records for Midwest Invasive Plant Network memberships.For more information regarding this opportunity please contact Kate Howe .
