 CUE Past Interns

Colleen HeathColleen Heath

Colleen was our first official intern. During her time at the CUE Colleen initiated several of the projects we currently sponsor at the center, including our Eastern Bluebird nest box project. She also forged a partnership with Friends of the White River, and conducted monthly bird walks.  Colleen graduated in December of 2008. Upon graduation, she became a participant in the STRI (Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute) program at Butler.  Colleen is now working with researchers in Gamboa, Panama and will return in June of 2009.  In April of 2009, Colleen was selected as the Butler University Student Employee of the year!

 

Kyle Keller Kyle Keller

Kyle was involved with the center and it's founders when it first began.He worked closely with Dr. Dolan, conducting flora inventories and working on the herbarium collection. After graduation Kyle worked with AmeriCorps and the U.S. Forest Sevice mapping and treating invasive plant species on forest service lands.  Currently Kyle is a graduate student at the University of Nevada in the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences program.
