Preparation for Registration
Student Presenters, you'll need to know the following:
- Your email and mailing address
- If you have co-presenters and you are the first or primary
investigator, you'll need the names and email addresses of your
co-presenters
- The name and email address of your faculty sponsor
- Your preference for presentation format (Paper or Poster
Session) and what, if any, video/audio equipment you need (VCR,
slide projection, PC Presenter-Powerpoint)
- The title of your presentation and a brief (250 word maximum)
abstract of your presentation
- Registration payment information. You'll have the option of
credit card, personal check or cash. Also, if your university is
paying your registration, you'll be able to indicate that as well.
Please check with your faculty sponsor or department chair to find
out.
Remember, this is a professional
conference. Do not submit an abstract unless you
are certain that you are available to attend the
conference on Friday, April 12, 2013.
Registering for another person
If you are registering anyone but yourself, please use that
person's email address. If you must use your own email address to
register another person DO NOT use that same address to register
yourself. Doing so will result in the initial registration being
lost because the email address is each registrant's unique
identifier.
Problems with registering
If you believe there is a problem with your entry, you may send
an email to the conference director, Dr. Mariangela Maguire, at urc@butler.edu. But please do not
send a second entry.
Registration Fee
The $40.00 registration fee includes a URC 2013 T-shirt, lunch,
and a continental breakfast. Butler Students, you are not asked to
pay a registration fee but if you want a URC T-Shirt, you will be
asked to pay $10.00 for it.
