Why did you join Tau Beta Sigma?
I joined TBS because I wanted to do more to support the bands besides just being a member. I wanted to contribute to the community and make a difference on and off campus.
What is your favorite part of being a sister in Epsilon?
I love the close connections we share as sisters in this organization. I feel that our sorority is very reliable to our members and we can go to anyone in this group for support and encouragement.
What are your favorite Tau Beta Sigma activities?
LOVE Candlelight and Joint/Separate Retreat!
Which of the
"Five Qualities" is most important to you?
2) Recognition and development of your intellectual potential; I feel that being a college student that works full-time and has a ton of activities can sometimes cause a person to put off school work for other more important things. For me, this is not true. I work very hard to maintain excellence in everything I do, especially when it deals with intellectual growth. That's why this quality is so important to me.
Which of the
"Eight Essential Factors" is most important to you?
7) Tolerance, tempered with kindness and a consideration for the needs of others; I have always put the needs of others before myself when I am asked to help someone. Before making any decision that could effect a group, I consult with people to make sure that their voice is heard. I consider everyone's opinions to be valuable and I am very tolerant of others' beliefs and values. Today, that understanding is very hard to find in others; often times people are very quick to judge others harshly. I feel that this factor is very important to live by, not only as a sister in TBS but also as a good citizen.
The best thing about band is ...
being able to be in an ensemble full of people that share your drive, motivation, and passion for music!
