Why did you join Tau Beta Sigma?
"I joined Tau Beta Sigma because it seemed like
something I would enjoy doing, both to help the bands and
also to meet new people."
What is your favorite part of being a sister in
Epsilon?
"My favorite part about being a sister of Epsilon is all
of the great times we have together as sisters and friends,
from our pseudo-retreat, to rituals, to just hanging out in
somebody's room all night."
What are your favorite Tau Beta Sigma activities?
"My favorite Tau Beta Sigma activities include our
pseudo-retreat that just the sisters go on and all of the
little things we do at the beginning of the year to help
BUMB run smoothly (like the service day, music and munchies,
the freshmen kits, and the other little things we do during
band camp). It's so much fun to come back to school early
and spend the time doing service and other things with my
sisters (and brothers) while we make up for being apart all
summer."
Which of the "Five Qualities" is most important to
you?
"'Recognition and development of your intellectual
potential.' College is all about learning, not just in class
but outside of it also. You won't ever really know what you
are capable of unless you make the effort to always be
improving and learning something new."
Which of the "Eight
Essential Factors" is most important to you?
"'Fortitude and courage to see an ideal, to seize
upon it, and follow it wherever it may lead you (in Tau Beta
Sigma).' This one is very important to me because I have
always believed that hard work can get you anything you
really want, as long as you're willing to put the effort in.
If you see something that appeals to you, you have to
be willing to make the effort and go for it or you will
never achieve your goals."
The best thing about band is ...
"playing music with all of my friends and getting to share it
with others so they can enjoy it too."
