All-Star Band

Bands of America
The sisters and brothers help host the BOA competition at the RCA Dome each November.
Bassoon Day
The sisters help our sponsor, Dr. Spaniol, with Butler's annual Bassoon
Day event. We set up the night before, work the registration table in the
morning, and help take down and reset the rooms after the event was over.
Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is the philanthropy of the joint chapter of Alpha Beta & Epsilon. We are constantly finding projects to raise money for or work directly with cystic fibrosis patients.
Daffodil Days
The sisters won Butler's 2005 Daffodil Days, a campus-wide event raising money for the American Cancer Society by selling daffodils. Tau Beta Sigma won the event by raising more money than any other organization. We also raised additional donations to buy daffodils and bring them to children being treated for cystic fibrosis.
Girl Scouts
Each spring, the sisters run a workshop to help Brownie Scouts and Junior Scouts earn their music merit badges.
Marching Band Clean-Up
The sisters and brothers assign one person to be in charge of each cooler for football games, and they stay after to clean up the stands.
Marching Band Practice Help
The sisters and brothers bring out and set up the yard markers and the drum major podium. We also maintain the various storage rooms for the marching band and report vehicles parked on our practice "field" to BUPD for towing.
Marching Band Uniforms
The sisters fit, distribute, and alter BUMB uniforms before and throughout the football season.
Music and Munchies
During Welcome Week, the sisters and brothers host a lunch on campus for new freshman music majors and the Welcome Week Band plays a short concert for their entertainment.
Relay for Life
The joint chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma participate in Butler's annual Relay for Life event to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
Wind Ensemble Receptions
The sisters and brothers put on receptions after Wind Ensemble concerts with cookies, crackers, and punch.
