Dear Brothers and Visitors,

Welcome to the website for the Alpha Sigma Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Our chapter was established in 1926 at the Metropolitan School for the Arts and continuously had a chapter until 1984. For the next twenty years our chapter went through a period when we were reactivated deactivated just a few years later. Finally, in 2004, 11 men started the chapter for a third time and we have thrived since then. Last April we had the honor of hosting the Sinfonia Fireside Midwest Conference on our campus and in the last months we sent a group of brothers on a Province 28 trip to Lyrecrest in Evansville, IN. We also run our weekly fundraiser, Grilled Cheese Wednesday, where the brothers have a lot of fun serving lunch to the students of Jordan College of Fine Arts. We are currently training 6 probationary members to become Sinfonians on Saturday April 13, 2013.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is a very special life for all of our brothers. It is a place where we can gather to share our music and experiences with those who share our love of music. Our chapter has encountered hard times but the importance of music to the students of Butler University has kept our chapter prosperous. Many things are changing for our group of musicianly men but signs so far say that our chapter is proceeding on and ever upward.
