DERBY DAYS
The mission of Derby Day is easily stated: to serve the community. Rho chapter members locally support the Riley Children's Hospital with their Derby Days proceeds. This week long event concluded with the presentation of a check in the amount of $2,050 to Riley at the Derby Days Banquet. This year, the banquet had a very special guest in attendance, six-year-old Kendall Shepard. Kendall suffers from Alagille Syndrome, a rare liver disease. Hearing her story gave deeper meaning to our fundraising efforts.

GOLF OUTING BENEFITS HUNTSMAN CANCER INSTITUTE
At the Sigma Chi 150th celebration in 2005, it was announced that the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) was chosen to be one of the Fraternity's preferred charitable organizations in addition to Children's Miracle Network. This philanthropy has deep meaning for Rho Chapter brothers, as well. Each year we hold the Chad Keuker Memorial Golf outing in honor of Chad who lost his battle to cancer. This year's golf tournament is April 29th at the Golf Club of Indiana in Zionsville. Download the registration form listed under April Events in the right-hand column.

YOUTH FEST
Each fall we hold a carnival in conjunction with a sorority for inner-city youth. Watch for dates in the fall.

AND MORE
In addition to the above philanthropy projects, Rho brothers particpate in Dance Marathon, Light Up the Night Against Drunk Driving, Relay for Life and any other good cause that comes along our way.
