Because Manuscripts is a student-driven publication, the editorial staff consists entirely of current Butler students. Staff members are responsible for critiquing all submissions carefully, ranking them using a 1-5 scaling system, and choosing which pieces will go in the magazine. If they choose, they may also head various committees, such as Advertising, Event Planning, and Webpage Maintenance.

Manuscripts is pleased to announce that the staff members for the 2005-2006 school year have been chosen. The decision was a hard one and the open positions were few, so we offer our thanks to everyone who applied. Congratulations to the new staff: Calli Grimes, Diane Hardin, Meagan Hinze, Paddy O'Connell, and Karen Witting.
