TRIKE WEEK 2006 April 3rd - April 8th

TRIKE is the Beta Zeta chapter's annual philanthropic event. TRIKE is a week-long event that raises money for the Ed Seaver Fund, a late Beta Zeta alumnus whose parents started a fund in his name to benefit the children at Riley Children's Hospital, the only comprehensive children's hospital in Indiana. TRIKE's events include sorority races on our 'oversized tricycles', an auction of active Delt members, raising money on the streets of Butler, and an all-campus party to culminate the events of the week. All of the money raised during the week of TRIKE is donated to the children at Riley. The money buys toys and activities that the children play with while they are at the hospital.
The brothers of Beta Zeta annually raise over $5,000 and last year we raised over $15,000. So far this year, we are well on our way to achieving our goal of $15,000+. TRIKE is the only philanthropic event that Beta Zeta holds where every brother is accountable for fundraising as well as helping out to ensure that the events of the week go as planned. We strive to involve not only the brothers of the chapter, but the entire Butler community. We often ask prestigious faculty and alumni to help out with the events of the week and all help we can acquire is greatly appreciated whether it is a monetary donation or helping the brothers with the event. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to donate to the Ed Seaver Fund, please do not hesitate to call or email our TRIKE chairman, Josh Muller.
