Alpha Phi is a self-governed organization with potential leadership positions, ranging from executive positions to coordinating specific events for the house. be a leader... be a part of Alpha Phi! Alpha Phis are involved in the community! Alpha Phi hosts one philanthropic event each year to raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation which supports cardiac care. In addition, Alpha Phi supports the local community by participating in charity events including Race for the Cure, Safe Night Halloween, and other events. be a philanthropist... be a part of Alpha Phi! Alpha Phi provides lifelong friendship! Alpha Phi provides a support system within Butler University helping its members to meet people and create friendships that will last a lifetime. The Alpha Phi experience continues long after graduation. There are Alpha Phis in all parts of the world, offering a network of connections and involvement. be a friend... be a part of Alpha Phi! Alpha Phis are social! Alpha Phi offers a wide variety of social opportunities. These activities include semi-formals, formals, sisterhood socials, as well as themed parties such as Barn Bash. Alpha Phis also plan events for University sponsored weekends such as Parents' Weekend and Homecoming. be social... be a part of Alpha Phi! Alpha Phis are involved on campus! Events are planned for each week of the school year, allowing each member to get as much as she wants out of Butler University and Alpha Phi. Events include intramural sports teams, competitions within the Greek system (including Homecoming and Greek Week) and dinner exchanges. be involved... be a part of Alpha Phi! Alpha Phi believes in scholarship! Alpha Phi recognizes that the focus of academic life is to excel in scholarship. Alpha Phi was founded in 1872 at Syracuse University.
