I'm Kelsa, Vice President of Operations Board. I love spending time with family and friends, taking road trips, and attending or watching any type of sporting event. I am crazy about anything and everything about Butler. I enjoy the one on one interactions with professors, spending time outside anywhere on campus, and of course cheering on the basketball team. I love being able to take part in new experiences and I think SGA allows for students to take on opportunities to try new things and meet new people! I believe SGA is a valuable part of the many things Butler has to offer. I am so excited for the upcoming year. I hope that you will join my board members and I at our weekly assembly meetings as well as take a ride on our FREE shuttles to Broad Ripple or Downtown when you're up for an adventure!

Personal Information

  • Hometown: Danville, IN
  • High School: Danville Community High School

  • Major: Chemistry
  • Career Goals: Eventually go into the medical field, becoming a retail pharmacist.

Student Government Association Experience

I've been on the Operations Board every semester I've been at Butler. Each semester I became more involved with the Operations Board. I have helped hand out placards, agendas, and was the Operations Board Representative at the weekly assembly meetings.

Campus Involvement

Favorite Butler Memory

I am a huge basketball fan so of course I have to say attending all the home games and multiple away games on fan buses. Being able to go to back to back National Championship games will be something I will never forget. Also traveling for the first time out of the country to Guatemala with the Butler University Timmy Foundation on a medical mission trip is something I will never forget.
