"My involvement in PRSSA has opened many doors in my
educational experience at Butler as well as for my professional
future. The networking opportunities through PRSSA allowed me to
choose from a pool of rewarding internships, one being the American
College of Sports Medicine."

Butler's Public Relations Student
Society of America (PRSSA) chapter provides professional and
leadership development opportunities, allowing students to apply
classroom theories and methods prior to graduation. The chapter
also invites notable public relations professionals from the
community to share their expertise with students.
Indianapolis chapters of the Public Relations Society of
America, Women in Communications, Inc., the International
Association of Business Communicators and the Society of
Professional Journalists welcome students as members and provide
networking and mentoring opportunities to them as emerging
professionals.
For students interested in a career in advertising or marketing,
ADrenaline, Butler's Ad Club
chapter, provides an experiential learning environment that
replicates work in an advertising agency. ADrenaline members hone
their advertising, marketing and audience-focused problem-solving
skills by participating in the American Advertising Federation's
National Student Advertising Competition and developing ad
campaigns and marketing materials that address the communication
needs of their clients.
