  The Staff Assembly Mission
The mission of the Butler University Staff Assembly is to enhance the work environment, and represent the interests and concerns of staff in the overall governance structure of the university.

Bob Marcus - Executive Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting, Budget and Grand Administration
Julie Pakenham - Associate Direcgtor of PuLSE, Student Involvement & Leadership


2007 Top Dawgs The recipients of the 2006-2007 Top Dawg Staff Awards gathered at the home of Bobby and Suzanne Fong recently for a special dinner in recognition of their achievement.

Top Dawgs are honored for their commitment to excellence and for providing outstanding service to students, staff, faculty, visitors and university clientele. Recipients are nominated by colleagues and are chosen by a committee of the staff assembly.

Top Dawgs receive a one time award of $500 and are recognized formally at the annual back to school faculty/staff picnic in August.

The 2007 Top Dawg Awards were announced August 17, 2007. Pictured with Dr. Fong are this year's honorees:

  Staff Assembly Suggestion Box
Did you know that suggestions for Butler and Staff Assembly can now be submitted anonymously online? Go to The Butler HUB under "Staff Assembly Announcements & Suggestions >> Suggestions" for the link. Staff Assembly welcomes all suggestions from staff that are serious in tone and benefit the entire Butler Community. The Communication Committee is responsible for collecting these suggestions and forwarding them to the Executive Committee, where responses are solicited from the appropriate people.
