The Butler University/Shortridge Partnership
The Shortridge Magnet High School
for Law and Public Policy was created through a partnership
between Butler University and Indianapolis Public Schools, with
support from several community allies. The school opened in 2009
for grades 6-9, and a new grade will be added every year thereafter
until the school reaches grade 12. Read more about this important

Shortridge Juniors Come to Campus for Early College

Taking high school and college classes simultaneously means a
lot of work, but also some sweet benefits for the 11 students
completing their first semester in Butler's Early
College Program (ECP). All juniors at Shortridge Magnet High
School for Law and Public Policy, the ECP students have taken
classes alongside Butler students two days a week this fall. Read
