What is the Senior Class Legacy?
The Senior Class Legacy is the name given to our senior class gift
campaign and is a Butler University tradition now for over 20
years. At the conclusion of the campaign, the senior class
will present the University with a gift in honor of our time on
campus.
The purpose of the Senior Class Legacy is two-fold:
- To give the graduating class the opportunity to leave a lasting
legacy to the University; and
- To educate seniors about the importance of giving back to
Butler every year and to begin building a stronger culture of
philanthropy among students.
This gift is to be paid for solely by the senior class. If
the appropriate funds to cover the costs of the gift are not
received, all donations will go into a previously established
agreed upon fund.
