National Scholarship and Fellowship Advising

We are pleased to announce that Butler University had three winners of Fulbright awards in 2014! This is a record number of winners for our University. Our winners will be spending a year in Greece, France, and South Korea, respectively. We also had our first ever winner of the prestigious Princeton in Latin America fellowship. You could be next! Members of the class of 2015 should contact Dr. Jones as soon as possible to begin the application process.

New: our 2014 Fulbright winners will be blogging about their experience! Follow along and live the adventure through their eyes!

Since 2011, eight Butler seniors have received Fulbright Scholar awards that let them travel to such places as Ireland, Israel, and Spain, to study topics they are passionate about with global experts. Even more Bulldogs have been national finalists for Fulbright, Truman, Goldwater, and other scholarships - accomplishments that boost résumés.

The CHASE Office assists students in discovering and applying for these awards. We guide them through award applications, essays, and the nomination process and we even coach finalists in mock interviews, aimed at student success. If you have any questions regarding fellowships or scholarships (even those not listed on our website), the CHASE Office should be your first stop. If you are interested in applying for one of these awards, contact Dr. Jones or visit Jordan Hall, Room 153.
