  • Policy for Submission of Holcomb Awards Proposals

    In the interest of expediting the internal grant approval process, saving time and paper, ALL internal grant applications must be submitted to the BIRS office electronically.

    1. The application is filled out and taken to the Department or Program Chair and Dean for signatures.

    2. Once the application has been signed by the dean it should be scanned into one PDF document and sent by email to the BIRS office (birs@butler.edu) for electronic distribution to the appropriate committee. 

    3. Use the forms that are currently on the website. Proposals submitted on outdated forms will be deemed non-compliant and will not be forwarded to the HAC committee.
