About Parking Services
Butler University is located in the Butler-Tarkington
neighborhood and parking is regulated by the Department of Public
Safety. All university students and staff are required to register
their vehicles to park on campus, and adjacent city streets. There
is a registered covenant between Butler University and the
Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association, in compliance with
Indiana code, that requires university parking services to enforce
neighborhood parking regulations.
Temporary parking permits can be issued at anytime by visiting
the University Police department on campus, or the 24 hour dispatch
center located in the same building at 525 W. Hampton Drive.
To register your vehicle, please
come in person to BUPD during business hours, Monday through Friday
8:30am to 4:30pm. We are located at 525 W. Hampton Drive on the
corner of Sunset and Hampton Drive.
