Dec. 24, 2012 - NWS Blizzard Warning issued for Marion
County:
Break Stay Students should be aware of the predicted weather for
the Indianapolis area. The National Weather Service has issued a
Blizzard Warning for Central Indiana that includes Indianapolis.
Snow is expected to fall between 5 to 10 inches with wind gusts up
to 40 mph and wind chills near 10 degrees.
Students not already on campus should be aware of the weather
forecast as travel to Indianapolis may be affected.
Students on campus now are encouraged to have plenty of food,
water and any other necessities to last you through the duration of
this weather event as you may not be able to leave your residence
hall or campus apartment.
Student athletes should contact their coaches to inquire about
scheduled contests.
